The cover and switching mechanism design of the PSL valve actuators for a wider range of applications, with more space for electronics and reduced cost. The PSL valve actuators fulfil all requirements for control valve actuators with remarkable efficiency.

The compact PSQ quarter-turn actuators of PS Automation are available from 50 Nm up to 1500 Nm torque. Different stroke options are available e.g. 90°, 180° or others. They are even available with continuous rotation upon request.
They are mature and proven, very robust and completely maintenance free. Since entering the marketing 15 years ago, gear damages by wear have not occurred under normal operation. This is why we can assume that a PSQ lasts as long as the valve. When buying a PSQ from PS Automation, the specialist for valve actuators, the only thing to consider is the reasonable price as well as the running costs. There are no maintenance costs!
For the PSQ-E series we use a very economic manufacturing method and a very efficient overriding drive in order to enable robustness at low cost. The valve is protected by using torque limited motors with thermo switches instead of torque switches. You can chose between two different torques and five different operating voltages. The standard equipment includes two potential-free change-over contacts which are preset to 90° travel to signalize the end positions. Optionally, you and your customers in the shop floors or at the construction site can retrofit a heating, a potentiometer as well as a mA position transmitter in two- or three-wire technology.

The quarter-turn actuator series PSR-E is the economical addition to the proven actuator series PSQ for torque requirements from 25 Nm to 50 Nm, directly mounted as per ISO 5211. PSR-E series is containing a maintenance-free, low-wear and low-noise spur gear resulting in high efficiency and long lifetime. The PSR-E series with various operating times is most suitable for control operation due to the use of synchronous motors without after-run.
Customers who use the PSQ quarter-turn and PSL linear actuators profit from a standardisation of the modular accessories in several ways, as fewer parts must be held in stock and the training requirements for the sales, service and assembly staff are reduced considerably

PSQ-AMS is the patented smart actuator solution up to 1000 Nm torque for modulating control valve applications. PSQ-AMS includes enhanced electronics with an embedded micro-controller with flash memory that controls and monitors the entire actuator function. Summarizing all functions on a single circuit board makes the actuator extremely compact and safe in operation. The value for money is outstanding.
